Liability Claims

ARM is familiar with working on commercial third party exposures, including premises losses. We are familiar with the innkeeper industry, automobile dealerships, retail stores, restaurants, and smaller commercial businesses. ARM has vast experience in homeowner’s liability, and several of its adjusters have handled automobile and premises liability for over fifteen years.

In addition, our staff understands product liability issues, along with completed operations exposures on restaurants, light manufacturing, garage exposures, and construction defect related issues.

Our staff has extensive background in commercial general liability policies, and the protection afforded assureds under these forms.

ARM employs two attorneys as well as three adjusters with CPCU designations; therefore, ARM can handle your clients’ Errors & Omissions claims. These adjusters understand the frustration and emotion your clients experience while being confronted with the intimidating process of an E&O claim.

ARM has also had experience with bodily injury liability claim issues. ARM is fully compliant with all Rule 111 – Medicare as Secondary Payer requirements. We can submit reports directly to Medicare’s COBC on your behalf to determine Medicare eligibility for claimants, or we can provide the same information to the RRE of your choosing. ARM is already the RRE for some of our clients, while we work closely with the designated RRE for the Lloyd’s Market to provide timely reporting and compliance with all Medicare issues. ARM also has experience in following through Medicare’s MSPRC for resolving lien issues, and settlement of claims. This experience has allowed us to refine a specific set of procedures for the adjusters to adhere to in order to ensure the quick resolution of these oft-times complicated.

ARM keeps a full catalog of ISO and Lloyd’s policy forms in our library. We also utilize the F C & S™ Online Services, Thomson Reuters Accelus™, Oden Online©, and Westlaw® Online for technical questions and research of case law.

ARM’s staff is familiar with, and works well with all the defense firms within the areas we routinely service in the United States and Canada. As these areas expand, we contact and vet the defense firms in each new area, and establish a relationship with each of them. If you have firms you prefer us to use, we can include this information in our database and automatically link this information to your claims to ensure we meet your expectations.

In addition, we are familiar with the plaintiff firms, and the profile they fit in regards to the propensity to litigate or settle. With this intimate knowledge, ARM can provide useful information to you to move claims toward closure at the least cost.

ARM is licensed to handle liability lines claims in 21 of the 31 states, and various provinces in Canada which require adjusters licensing, with more areas being added as needed.
