Mark Pollack, CPCU, AIC, RPA began Affirmative Risk Management in December 1987. Mr. Pollack began his career repairing semi tractor-trailers. He became so trusted in the Arkansas insurance market, domestic carriers would not send an independent to re-inspect the repair estimates he wrote.
Mr. Pollack worked with the domestic market for several years before an Underwriter with Lloyd’s of London contacted him to work a truck in Arkansas. That claim was handled with the usual professional nature Mr. Pollack exhibits and the Third Party Administrative portion of Affirmative Risk Management was born.
Mr. Pollack retired in September 2017. David Elliott, AIC, Chantal Roberts, CPCU, AIC, RPA, and Gary Lambertus, AIC, have been trained by Mr. Pollack and have taken over the day to day handling of Affirmative Risk Management. Mr. Pollack now spends his time overseeing larger projects and testifying as an expert witness for Lloyd’s in California, James River in Louisiana and Mississippi, and Tyson Chicken in Arkansas and other high profile clients.
